New Orleans Saints World Champions

Congratulations to the New Orleans Saints Super Bowl Champs for the 2009 Season!!!
Who Dat! Who Dat! Who DAT! SAY THEY GONE BEAT DEM SAINTS
The Saints first championship in the team franchises 43 year history. Congrats to Tom Benson owner of the New Orleans Saints and his family! Congratulations to New Orleans. For New Orleans continued fight to rebuild and uplift the city from Hurricane Katrina devastation. Bourbon Street will be having a party from here on out into early March. Mardi Gras will have an extra special meaning this year with the Saints huge upset of the Indianapolis Colts in Super Bowl 44. Reggie Bush has joined a select group that has won college championships and NFL Super Bowl rings. This would be great stats to look up and give the findings. Drew Brees being brought from San Diego four years ago has New Orleans cashing in their chips for the Jackpot that is the Championship!!!! Now is Drew Brees among the top QB in the NFL? Brees won the MVP in the Super Bowl. The Saints offense came together in the Second half outscoring the COLTS 25 to 7. The N.O. Saints football team had a tale of two half's indeed. The onside Kick call by coach Sean Payton was a gutsy call. If they did not recover the onside kick it would have surely lead to a Colts score. We do not know if it would have been 3 points or 7?
We know hindsight is no good after the game been played. In the NFL most of the games are decide by about 5 or 6 keys plays. Peyton Manning's game changing pass interception by Travis Porter in the fourth quarter game sticks out the most for everybody. Eight times out of ten times Peyton knows better to throw this type of pass across the field. It is similar to the Bret Favre pass against the NFC Champion Saints in their game clinching interception of Favre. Only Peyton came in the biggest game in NFL players lives which is the Super Bowl.
Let's give all credit to the Saints coaching staff for a tremendous second half defensive scheme to stop the Colts passing attack. Let's also not forget Sean Payton ties to the Dallas Cowboys before he became the head coach of the New Orleans Saints. Who would have thought that he would win the Super Bowl before the Dallas Cowboys team and organization. You know Jerry Jones is smarting somewhere over his decision to let him go now. Saints are the Champions of the Football World! Do Saints fans feel for Joe Horn not being able to celebrate the win by being on the team? Where is Joe Horn? Reggie Bush is the first one off the USC Trojans dynasty team to win the Super Bowl!
